BREEAM is a multi-criterion system of assessment of the quality of buildings which is currently considered a standard in the real property sector in Europe and worldwide, applied by investors, developers and tenants. BREEAM takes in consideration may aspects that characterize the building, including the quality of internal environment, energy efficiency, availability of public transport means, building materials, building’s operation management, water and waste management.

The BREEAM certificate is granted by BRE (Building Research Establishment) Global based on materials and report prepared by a licensed assessor who cooperates with the design team during the certification process. The building may receive a BREEAM certificate on one of levels, depending on the rating:

  • Pass
  • Good
  • Very Good
  • Excellent
  • Outstanding

The certification process may be performed on office, commercial and industrial buildings, both new and overhauled. The assessment may cover entire facilities and individual rental spaces.
