We are pleased to announce that the Katowice Business Point office building, located at 3 Fr. Piotr Ściegiennego Street in Katowice, has been awarded a BREEAM In-Use certificate at the Excellent level in the Asset part and Very Good in the Building Management part.
It is a high-class office building located in a dynamically developing district of Katowice, in the direct vicinity of one of the largest shopping malls in the Silesian region – Silesia City Center, providing access to service, retail and catering facilities. The building’s location provides convenient access to public transport and enables efficient transport links with all agglomerations in the region. The premises in the building have been finished to the highest standards, and the glazed elevation of the building allows increased access of daylight to the interiors, which is an important aspect of the BREEAM assessment of user comfort.
In order to obtain this internationally recognised certificate, the project carried out a set of analyses indicating the absence of risks from natural hazards and an assessment of social and climatic risks and opportunities. It carried out an environmental report and a biodiversity plan to improve the quality of the natural environment and implemented numerous policies, plans and procedures to influence the sustainability of the entire development, both environmentally and socially and economically.
