We are pleased to announce that the Philips House building, located at 195B Jerozolimskie Avenue in Warsaw, has been awarded BREEAM In-Use certification at the Excellent level in the Asset and Building Management parts. It is the first jointly certified building in the Globalworth portfolio under BREEAM In-Use Commercial V6.
Philips House is an office building located in the Włochy district close to one of the capital’s main thoroughfares Jerozolimskie Avenue. Completed in 1999, it has become a permanent fixture in the landscape of Warsaw’s office buildings. There is a well-developed retail and service infrastructure nearby, with the Blue City and Reduta shopping malls. The location of the office building provides convenient access to public transport and enables efficient transport links to the city centre, Chopin Airport and the Warsaw ring road.
In order to obtain this internationally recognised certificate, the building carried out analyses indicating the absence of risks from natural hazards and assessments of social and climatic risks and opportunities. It completed an environmental report and a biodiversity plan to improve the quality of the natural environment and implemented numerous policies, plans and procedures to positively influence the sustainability of the entire investment, both environmentally and socially and economically.
