We are pleased to announce that the Mercedes-Benz HQ investment, located at 1 Gottlieb Daimler Street in Warsaw, has been awarded a BREEAM In-Use certificate with a high score of Very Good in the Asset and Building Management parts.
The building was constructed in 2004 and its characteristic elements are the office part, which was built on a circular plan, car showroom and the green roof. The office modules in the building are finished to a high European standard, with large, glazed areas providing maximum natural light for the interiors and thus excellent working conditions. The complex’s location on one of the capital’s major thoroughfares, Jerozolimskie Avenue, provides excellent access to the city centre, Fryderyk Chopin International Airport, and other districts. The Warsaw Aleje Jerozolimskie railway station is located next to the office building. Good transport accessibility is also provided by numerous bus lines. The complex is surrounded by other office buildings and numerous retail and service outlets.
In order to obtain this internationally respected certificate, the investment was subjected to safety analyses with regard to natural hazards and climatic and social risks and opportunities. Implementing the recommendations of the completed environmental report and biodiversity management plan positively impacts the surrounding environment. The policies, plans and procedures drawn up have a positive impact on the operation of the entire project, both economically and from an environmental and social perspective, resulting in the sustainable development of the complex.
