Partnership for Accessibility

Partnership for Accessibility

On 3 July 2018, at the Ministry of Investment and Development, we signed the Accessibility Partnership, the aim of which is to cooperate within the Accessibility Plus Programme. The declaration was also signed by the National Association for Sustainable Building Support, of which Go4Energy is a co-founder.

The main idea of the partnership is to create a platform for the exchange of substantive knowledge between entities, associations, companies, organisations operating in the field of broadly understood accessibility. The signing of the agreement is an official confirmation that Go4Energy will be guided by the idea of accessibility, influencing the environment through services provided for the real estate and construction industries.

– As a socially responsible company and involved in various types of initiatives, we are happy to support the Accessibility Plus programme. It seems particularly valuable to have the opportunity to use the experience related to the certification of buildings in this slightly broader concept of sustainable development, including their accessibility. The values we follow in our daily work and the development goals we set ourselves are fully in line with the programme. We treat the signing of the declaration as a motivation to expand our activities to include services for the reduction of architectural barriers of new buildings. – Introduced by Piotr Bartkiewicz, Managing Partner of Go4Energy and member of the board of the National Association for Sustainable Building Support.

Go4Energy is an independent consulting company, present on the market since 2008 and experienced in providing services on projects with a total area of 5 million m2. Acting in accordance with the idea of sustainable development, it develops long-term energy management projects in real estate and provides advice on investment rationalisation at the concept, design and operation stages. The company conducts ecological certification processes of new, modernized and existing facilities in BREEAM, LEED, WELL and Green Building Standard systems. It also provides commissioning and modelling services, carries out energy audits and internal air quality tests.

Go4Energy is also a co-founder of the National Association for Sustainable Building Support, which was established in 2014 at the initiative of real estate companies. As part of its activities, the organization conducts training on oswbz.org certification systems/planned training/, coordinates the draft report „Energy consumption in office buildings” oswbz.org/reports/ and supervises building certification in the Polish Green Building Standard system. OSWBZ is also constantly involved in various initiatives. This year, it is supporting the fight against smog through the patronage of the documentary film „Smog Wars”, supporting women in the industry through the patronage of the „Top Woman in Real Estate” competition. It also permanently provides a substantive partnership of conferences and industry events.
